Spicy Black Bean Dip!

I came up with this recipe one day when I was making a dip platter for a friend and I had planned on making my classic white bean dip, but, realized I had run out of white beans! So, I noticed I had plenty of black beans in my pantry and started experimenting. I love the way it turned out!! Try it out for yourselves!! Let me know what you think!

Ingredients

  • 3 cans of black beans

  • 3/4 fresh lime juice

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp cumin

  • 1 tsp chili powder

  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro

  • 2 fresh jalapeños deseeded and chopped

  • 1/4 cup olive oil

  • 1/4 water


Directions

  1. Place all the ingredients except the beans into a food processor and process for a couple minutes

  2. Place the beans into the food processor and process with the rest of the ingredients

  3. Scoop out into your favourite bowl

  4. ENJOY!
