Simple Plant Based Sour Cream

This is probably one of the easiest things I make my kitchen, but, also one of the most delicious!!


The recipe calls for cashews but, I also have made a nut free version of the recipe for those who cannot consume nuts!


You'll need a high speed blender to make this extra smooth and creamy.






RECIPE: Ingredients: 1 cup raw cashews soaked for a few hours (preferably over night) or in hot water for 20 min (to go nut free, simply replace the walnuts with a brick of medium tofu and omit the water from this recipe!) 1/2 cup lemon juice pinch of salt 1 tsp nutritional yeast 1/4 cup + 2 TBSP water Directions: Drain the cashews and place them in the blender along with all the other ingredients. Blend until smooth (approximately 3-5min) ENJOY!
